WetCut 55 is a robust cut-off cutter for universal use in materialography and for cutting tasks in production, which has been used by renowned users worldwide for more than 10 years.
Other cut-off machines with different performance parameters are available with the Cuto 20, the Cuto 35, the WetCut 75 and the WetCut 110.
The WetCut 55 works with a moving cut, the cutting table is fed manually via a rotating spindle.
An automatic feed can be installed on request.
The cutting wheel arm can be lowered by motor. This allows the cutting wheel to be adjusted and optimally utilized when it is worn. The cut-off wheel can also be moved in the x-direction (left-right) using the standard cross feed for parallel
cuts.
The machine consists of a cast aluminum machine bed on which the cutting chamber is mounted.
The cutting table is made of grey cast iron and chemically nickel-plated. It therefore has the best corrosion protection and high wear resistance.
The drive motor is mounted separately from the work area behind the machine so that the cutting chamber can be optimally utilized.
The control electronics are located in a control box mounted on the side.
12 mm T-slots in the x and y directions allow individual clamping of the workpieces with different clamping devices.
The machine is easy to clean with the spray water hose located in the cutting chamber.
