The N6 hardness tester for stanchions is ideal for:

  • Measurements in boreholes.
  • Bore diameter from 36-110 mm.

Test procedure
The test procedure is divided into three main steps:

  1. Positioning and clamping
The tester is positioned in the hole and clamped by means of a force fit. This step ensures that the device is firmly and stably positioned in the hole to enable accurate measurements.
  2. Test load application
After the clamping process, the test load is applied using a hand lever. This manual operation transfers the required load to the test specimen, which is necessary to determine the hardness.
  3. Reading the measurement results
The measurement result can then be read directly from the dial gauge in HRC values. This display enables an immediate and precise evaluation of the material hardness.

The hardness tester includes:

  • Test unit N1E 000: With hand lever, dial gauge, dial gauge protection and spring sleeve.
  • Intest sensor: With clamping nut, clamping bracket and spring joint.
  • Test specimen.

The device is supplied in a suitable device cassette, supplemented by a hardness comparison table and operating instructions.
